TEXT TO TEXT TRANSLATION

 Now we shall try translating, text to text, from one language to another. In our case we shall translate from English to Kannada. Follow these simple steps to get the desired result. STEP 1. Open Bhashini, by clicking on the Bhashini icon on your mobile . The image is shown below:   STEP 2.Bhashini will open with a screen, as shown below, giving you different options. Click on "Text", on your mobile , to choose Text to Text translation.      STEP 3. Bhashini will show you the next screen as shown below. Here you see two buttons. "Malayalam" and "Punjabi". These two buttons allows you to choose the input(from) language and the translated output(to) language. Clicking on the left button, say "Malayalam".   STEP 4.You will see the next screen as shown below. To select the input language by clicking on  "Indian Languages".     STEP 5. The link given below can also be used to download Bhashini. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dibd.bhashini&hl=en_IN     To open the App click on this logo on your Mobile phone, It will show the opening screen as shown below: Clicking on any of these options - Text,Converse,Voice, Scene(word) or Browse will open the connected screen, where we can use it, for translation in different ways.

BHASHINI - INTRODUCTION

  Bhashini, is developed by MeitY, Government of India. It  is a free Android App that aims to build a national public digital platform for languages.This App can be freely downloaded from Google Play and installed on your Mobile phone which works on Android. It helps Indians, or anyone who wants to use Indian languages, to translate any content which can be in the form of text or spoken audio input in one Indian Language into another Indian Language or into English. The reverse translation is also possible. This means that a content in English can be converted into an Indian Language. At present Bhashini supports translation between the following languages: 1.Assamese 2.Bangla 3.English 4.Gujarati 5.Hindi 6.Kannada 7.Odia 8.Punjabi 9.Tamil 10.Telugu Further development work is in progress for the following languages, which can be tested by us. 1.Bodo 2.Dogri 3.Konkani 4.Kashmiri 5.Maithili 6.Manipuri 7.Nepali 8.Sanskrit 9.Santali 10.Sindhi 11.Urdu
